The MITC portal is a web-based information resource that aims at facilitating trade and increase transparency.The facility provides an authoritative “one-stop shop” of readily accessible trade information.

It is there to promote Malawian export products and companies through provision of information on key export products, market intelligence for example current market prices and indicators.

The portal is also used as platform for Malawian exporters to advertise their businesses. In addition, the portal provides information on tariffs, rules and regulations on quality, export business regulations, processes and incentives scheme. Furthermore, the portal enables foreign importers to access business information on Malawian exporters.
