Chombe Foods was established in 1969 by a Mr Barnet as a tea room in a small shop near the Clock Tower where the Petroda Filling Station now stands. Originally had only one tea brand which still exists today-Leopard hence it was known as Leopard Tea Room. Mr Barnet brought in other products like Chombe Tea,Rice,Salt,Nuts and Peanut Butter in 1971.Changed its name to Sales Services in 1974 after being bought by Brookes of UK. Press Corporation bought it in 1986 and changed its name again to T
